OWNERSHIP


Continuing its startegy of consolidating in the foundries space, The Sanmar Group, thru one of its constituents Sanmar Metals Corp, acquired Matrix Metals LLC, USA in April 2008. Together with its expanded steel foundry capacity of 30,000 tpa in India, this acquisition will give Sanmar Metals Corp a total steel castings capacity of 60,000 tpa spread across the three countries of India, USA and Mexico. These foundries will cater to customers in the construction and mining equipment, valves and oilfields, and transit and railroad industries. Seen along its German iron casting foundry acquisition in 2007 and it's greenfield India based 25,000 tps iron casting venture, it will place Sanmar Metals Corp in the forefront of the foundry industry in the world.


HISTORY


1987
    NACO purchases Keokuk foundry. The Company initiates international procurement of metal castings               for resale in the U.S.

1989    Sourcing business formalized with the creation of National Engineering Products Company, Inc.                         (NEPCO)

1990    NACO signs major sole distribution and technology transfer agreement with Mexican foundry called                Acerlan.

1996    NACO purchases Richmond foundry from Cooper Cameron Valve

1997    New shell foundry built in Keokuk

1999    ABC-NACO Inc. is formed as a result of the merger of the publicly held ABC Rail Products Corporation                and the privately held NACO, Inc. Company rebuilds and retools Richmond foundry to
             produce construction undercarriage equipment and manganese track castings.

2001    Matrix Metals LLC organized by management and FS Private Investments (“FSI”) to acquire certain                   assets of the Locomotive, Flow, and Specialty Products Division of ABC-NACO.

2002    Matrix Metals signs sole-source distribution agreement with premier foundry in India.

2003    Matrix Metals acquires 100% ownership of Mexico's largest steel foundry, Acerlan.
